Role description
The City of Lebel-sur-Quévillon is seeking a Treasurer to oversee municipal financial management.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and control financial activities.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and capital-project follow-up.
- Oversee accounting, municipal taxation, revenue collection and financial statements.
- Manage financing, debt, borrowing and grants.
- Ensure financial compliance and supervise finance staff.
- Contribute to executive and strategic planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or college diploma plus relevant experience.
- About 5 years of experience.
- People-management and municipal-sector experience.
- Strong computer, judgment and leadership skills.
Additional information
- Permanent full-time role in Lebel-sur-Quévillon.
- 32 hours per week, daytime schedule ending Friday at noon.
- Salary: $85,000–$110,000/year.
