Role description

Horne Smelter is seeking a First Responder / Licensed Practical Nurse to provide pre-hospital emergency care on site.

Responsibilities

  • Complete required accident and equipment forms.
  • Maintain, inspect, order and distribute personal protective equipment.
  • Manage inventory, cleanliness and hygiene of first-aid equipment, ambulances and respirators.

Qualifications

  • DEP in health, assistance and nursing care.
  • Current membership with Quebec’s order of licensed practical nurses.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and good physical condition.

  • Permanent full-time role in Rouyn-Noranda.
  • Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts.
