Pre-Flight Mechanic

TAS is recruiting pre-flight mechanics to support aircraft preparation, inspection and maintenance before departure. The role works across mechanical systems, functional checks, fault diagnosis and compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards.\n\nResponsibilities:\n• Analyze plans, schematics and technical drawings for assigned work.\n• Install, adjust, replace and repair mechanical aircraft components.\n• Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems.\n• Inspect and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air-conditioning, door, landing-gear and flight-control systems.\n• Prepare aircraft for flight, including daily inspections, pre-flight checks and refuelling-related activities.\n• Participate in engine and APU tests.\n• Perform modifications in accordance with service bulletins, customer standards and industry requirements.\n• Identify, report and document anomalies and non-conformities.\n• Collaborate with production, inspection, quality and supervisory teams.\n• Follow health and safety procedures and aerospace standards.

• College diploma or certificate in aircraft maintenance, M2 licence considered an asset, or equivalent training.\n• At least 3 years of relevant aerospace experience as a mechanic or in a related field.\n• Good ability to read and interpret technical documentation.\n• Strong attention to detail, rigor and safety focus.\n• Autonomy, teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility.\n• Spoken and written proficiency in French or English.

Permanent full-time position or contract assignment. Published locations: Montreal and Mirabel. Schedule varies according to operational needs.
