Avionics Technician

TAS is recruiting an avionics technician for major aerospace projects. The role covers installation, configuration, troubleshooting, testing and maintenance of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.\n\nResponsibilities:\n• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, AMM/IPC manuals and approved procedures.\n• Install, configure, modify and test aircraft avionics systems.\n• Troubleshoot electrical and avionics faults.\n• Perform inspections, adjustments, repairs and functional testing.\n• Ensure compliance with Transport Canada requirements, manufacturer standards and internal procedures.\n• Complete technical documentation and maintenance records.\n• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers and maintenance teams.\n• Identify and report anomalies, non-conformities and safety issues.\n• Maintain a 5S-compliant workplace and contribute to continuous improvement.

• College diploma in avionics or equivalent training.\n• At least 4 years of aerospace experience in MRO, manufacturing or operator environments.\n• Excellent ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.\n• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n• Knowledge of communication, navigation, instrumentation and other avionics systems.\n• Rigor, attention to detail, teamwork and good communication.\n• Functional French or English.\n• Assets: commercial or business aircraft experience, TCCA knowledge and AME category E licence.
