Role description
A Canadian accounting, tax and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager to work on tax files and planning engagements. Responsibilities include reviewing personal, corporate and trust income-tax returns and partnership information returns, supporting Canadian tax-planning engagements, analyzing new legislation, maintaining tax research, coaching junior staff and supporting practice outreach.
Qualifications
Three or more years of tax experience in a public accounting firm, including at least one year at manager level. CPA or equivalent designation. Tax In-Depth is an asset. Knowledge of CaseWare and TaxPrep. Strong written and verbal communication and leadership capability.
