Ecosystem is seeking a senior professional to play a technical and strategic role on multimillion-dollar energy projects in Toronto.

Key responsibilities
• Assess building automation systems (BAS) and mechanical systems on site.
• Analyze legacy control sequences and architectures for optimization opportunities.
• Specify BAS components and design tailored control strategies.
• Support bid phases and prepare sequences, point lists, scope estimates and RFP material.
• Oversee installation, start-up, programming and commissioning activities.
• Optimize programming after installation to meet performance guarantees.
• Train client facilities teams and support ongoing performance-data review.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in controls design and commissioning.

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation/Controls Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on control-systems experience.
• Strong proficiency with BAS platforms and software tools.
• Deep understanding of HVAC systems and control logic.
• Experience in field troubleshooting, commissioning and building-system integration.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for clients and stakeholders.
• Comfortable with approximately 60% on-site presence.

Published base salary: CAD 100,000–130,000 per year. Published benefits include vacation and personal days, group insurance, employer retirement-savings contributions, and coverage of certain site-related travel expenses.
