Role description
12-month incorporated-contractor assignment supporting a regulated Ontario utility implementing a new enterprise system for physical network assets. The role bridges internal teams and the external vendor and combines delivery coordination, requirements workshops/process mapping, hands-on SQL/Python data extraction/profiling/transformation/reconciliation, automated data-quality checks, source-to-target mapping, integration/system/regression/UAT testing and cutover/go-live/hypercare support.
Qualifications
Current hands-on SQL and working Python scripting are required, with direct data-migration experience covering profiling, mappings, transformation rules and reconciliation. Candidates need requirements-gathering/workshop facilitation and implementation coordination including vendor management, releases, cutover and go-live. PMP/CBAP, GIS/network models, asset-management systems or utility/energy/asset-heavy industry exposure are assets.
Additional information
Independent Contractor (Incorporated), 12 months from September 2026 to September 2027 with possible extension, 35 hours/week. Hybrid: two days onsite in Vaughan and three remote. Published hourly rate is $50–$60.
