Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a remote Mobile App Developer for Guhuza to maintain and improve native iOS and Android applications. The developer works on registration and profiles, matching, push notifications, interview invitations and waiting rooms, live video interviews, chat and real-time communication, app performance and reliability. Responsibilities include feature development, debugging crashes/device-specific issues, improving notification/realtime reliability, integrating services such as Twilio Video, Firebase, Socket.IO and Azure Communication Services, and preparing App Store / Google Play releases.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional mobile development; Swift and/or Kotlin; mobile architecture/lifecycle; REST APIs, JSON, authentication and third-party SDKs; push notifications; strong debugging across devices/OS versions; Git and remote workflows; ability to work independently. Twilio Video/WebRTC, Socket.IO, Azure Communication Services, analytics/crash reporting and app-store publishing are assets.
Additional information
Remote Ontario contract initially expected to last three months with possible extension. The source permits full-time, part-time, contract or temporary arrangements. Applications are directed to Guhuza.
