Role description
Hands-on cybersecurity research and engineering contract focused on emerging technologies for a leading financial-services client. The role researches, prototypes and evaluates agentic-AI security, application security, quantum and post-quantum cryptography, blockchain and other new cyber capabilities.
The person builds proofs of concept, tests products and vendor claims, works with LLMs, agents, APIs, cloud and automation, and turns successful research into practical recommendations for engineering, security leadership and investment stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, AI, computer engineering or a related field; PhD welcomed.
• Strong hands-on software-development skills, including languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Go and C/C++.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, APIs, cloud, containers and security automation.
• Broad knowledge of application security, AI security, vulnerability research, threat modelling and security architecture.
• Ability to design experiments, build prototypes and communicate technical findings.
