Role description
Senior disaster-recovery and infrastructure-resiliency contract role supporting a Toronto organization. The person assesses recovery readiness, plans and runs disaster-recovery tests, validates recovery-time and recovery-point objectives, identifies gaps, documents results and works with technology and business stakeholders on remediation.
The mandate spans business continuity, backup and cloud recovery, Unix and Windows environments, databases, mainframe platforms and governance/compliance frameworks.
Qualifications
• At least 7 years in disaster recovery, IT infrastructure or business continuity.
• Experience with DR assessments and test planning.
• RTO/RPO validation and post-test reporting.
• Knowledge of backup systems and cloud recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with Unix, Windows, databases and mainframe/z/OS.
• Familiarity with ISO 22301, NIST and regulatory compliance.
Additional information
