AI and Digital Transformation Lead

Ari Agency is recruiting an AI and Digital Transformation Lead reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. The role is responsible for advancing AI strategy, automation and digital integration across a Microsoft-centred technology ecosystem that includes Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Power Platform and public-facing WordPress platforms.

The mandate combines strategy with hands-on delivery: the successful candidate will build production AI capabilities, reduce manual work through automation, improve member and user experiences, strengthen data flows between systems and establish governance for secure, responsible AI adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized multi-year AI roadmap aligned with business objectives and risk controls.
• Design, build and deploy AI-enabled solutions such as intelligent assistants, recommendation capabilities, predictive models and automated workflows.
• Optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 for engagement, service delivery, data quality, reporting and operational efficiency.
• Use Power Apps and Power Automate to extend Dynamics 365 and automate business processes.
• Integrate WordPress with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 using APIs, connectors, webhooks or middleware.
• Create scalable data flows that synchronize registrations, inquiries, user activity and CRM records.
• Partner with Business Development and Marketing & Communications on digital initiatives that support growth, acquisition, retention and service delivery.
• Establish AI guardrails, access controls, documentation and practices for privacy, security and compliance.
• Support data analysis for AI model optimization and ensure integrations remain secure, performant and maintainable.

The role calls for a senior technology professional who can work across AI, automation, CRM and web integration while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution development, business automation and/or Microsoft enterprise platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with AI/ML tooling such as Azure AI, OpenAI APIs and/or Python-based solutions.
• Solid experience with WordPress, including themes/plugins and REST API integration.
• Strong understanding of AI-driven workflows, system integration patterns and RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs, connectors, middleware or low-code platforms.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Compensation: published base salary of $140,000–$150,000 CAD, plus a benefits and pension package.
• Work model: hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the Toronto office.
• Travel / schedule: occasional travel to seminars or training may be required; occasional evening or weekend work may arise for issue resolution or deadlines.
