Role description

AI software-development role with a major North American financial institution. The developer builds secure, scalable applications that integrate machine-learning and generative-AI capabilities into enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop AI-enabled applications, services and APIs.
  • Integrate ML and generative-AI models into production software.
  • Build retrieval, data-processing, evaluation and model-integration workflows.
  • Implement prompts, application logic, automated tests, monitoring and performance measurement.
  • Collaborate with data science, platform, product and business teams.
  • Apply privacy, security, responsible-AI and governance practices.
  • Document designs and troubleshoot application, integration and model issues.

Qualifications

Profile

  • Software development experience with Python or another modern language.
  • Experience with APIs, production services, databases, cloud platforms and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with ML, NLP or generative AI.
  • LLM, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, model evaluation or regulated financial-services experience are assets.
