Business Development Manager

Role overview

Contract Professionals Canada is hiring a Business Development Manager to help expand its Canadian energy and engineering staffing business. The role focuses on Western Canada and combines reactivation of existing client agreements with new-business development across upstream, midstream, EPCM, fabrication, construction and industrial markets.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a Canadian business-development strategy across target energy and industrial markets.
• Reconnect with stakeholders under existing owner-operator agreements and identify current workforce requirements.
• Develop new relationships through prospecting, meetings, proposals and negotiations.
• Build account plans and convert underdeveloped relationships into active business.
• Coordinate closely with recruitment, operations and leadership to deliver workforce solutions.
• Maintain client satisfaction while shaping the Canadian growth strategy.

• Established business-development capability and relationships in energy, engineering, construction or industrial staffing markets.
• Ability to sell workforce solutions and manage complex client accounts.
• Strong communication, commercial judgment, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with recruitment and operational teams in an agile growth environment.
