Estimator / Project Coordinator, Infrastructure

Outpost Recruitment is recruiting an Estimator / Project Coordinator for a large civil contractor in Vancouver. This early-career role combines estimating, field-engineering and project-coordination work on major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities:
• Support estimators through estimate reviews, bid wrap-up, quantity take-offs, quote solicitation and bid-software entry.
• Provide field-engineering support to project managers and superintendents.
• Track safety, quality, subcontractor progress, schedules and project documentation.
• Prepare progress reports, site photos, job-cost tracking and budget forecasts.
• Coordinate with procurement on materials and services.
• Participate in project-management improvement initiatives and operations systems.

Candidate profile:
• Technical-school or engineering graduate with about 3+ years of experience.
• Strong communication with project stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
• Strong work ethic and learning mindset.
• Comfortable in office and field environments, with local travel and occasional work outside standard hours.

Published salary: CAD 85,000–100,000. Full-time permanent role. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.
