Automotive Service Technician

Bannister Cadillac Kelowna is recruiting an Automotive Service Technician for its growing service department. The role covers diagnostics, repair, preventative maintenance and manufacturer-standard service work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems and components.
• Inspect and test vehicles to identify faults.
• Review work orders with service advisors and supervisors.
• Perform maintenance to manufacturer specifications.
• Repair or replace parts and mechanical components.
• Road-test vehicles and verify repairs.
• Complete service documentation accurately.
• Use modern diagnostic tools and dealership systems.

• Trades certificate or diploma in Automotive Service Technology.
• Red Seal endorsement is an asset.
• 3–5 years of automotive-service experience.
• Valid BC Class 5 licence and clean driving abstract.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with diagnostic tools, scan tools and electronic work-order systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality and detail.

Conditions

• Permanent, full-time; 40 hours/week.
• $36.60–$45.00/hour depending on experience/certification.
