Maintenance Millwright

PBF Pita Bread Factory is recruiting a Maintenance Millwright in Burnaby to maintain processing, packaging and material-handling equipment in a food-manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
• Inspect machinery and make adjustments to meet quality-control standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on processing, packaging and material-handling equipment.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and follow safety requirements.
• Work with Quality Assurance, packaging staff and team leaders to improve line efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Complete facility repairs and assist with equipment installation/relocation.

• Red Seal electrician preferred, or 5+ years of industrial machinery repair/millwright experience.
• At least 3 years of mechanical experience in high-speed packaging/manufacturing, ideally food.
• Strong electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Availability for continental shifts, weekends and after-hours when required.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Conditions

• Permanent, full-time.
• $42.00/hour.
