Baker

PBF Pita Bread Factory is recruiting an experienced Baker in Burnaby for commercial bread production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough according to recipes and customer orders.
• Operate baking and dough-processing machines.
• Scale ingredients accurately and record lot numbers/quantities.
• Monitor and adjust oven temperatures and speeds.
• Follow production schedules.
• Perform product quality checks.
• Follow safety and sanitation requirements and clean equipment after shifts.

• Secondary-school completion.
• 3+ years of commercial baking experience is an asset.
• Ability to speak, read and understand English.
• Strong math skills.
• Weekend availability and schedule flexibility.
• Ability to work in a dusty environment and lift up to 20 kg.

Conditions

• Permanent, full-time.
• $20.20/hour.
