Assistant Store Manager

Freshslice Pizza Global Head Office is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Vancouver to help lead day-to-day restaurant operations and support a consistent customer and food-service experience.

The position combines team supervision, operating discipline and hands-on restaurant work. The successful candidate is expected to support training systems, organize the team, handle customer transactions and help maintain Freshslice standards across food preparation, inventory, cleanliness and service.

Typical responsibilities include supporting employees during service, helping maintain workflow and organization, handling cash-register and sales transactions, assisting with inventory and stock, preparing menu items when needed, and reinforcing operating and training procedures. Hands-on pizza preparation, cleaning, sampling and familiarity with menu standards are considered assets.

Freshslice seeks at least two years of restaurant management experience, preferably in pizza or quick-service restaurants. The posting emphasizes leadership, teamwork, written and verbal communication, supervisory and organizational skills, comfort working with a diverse team, PC and Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to handle customer orders and point-of-sale transactions. One year of QSR experience is required and pizza-restaurant experience is preferred.

Permanent, full-time, in-person role in Vancouver. Published annual compensation: CAD 38,000–50,000. Benefits listed include dental care, extended health care and vision care.
