Store Manager

Freshslice Pizza Global Head Office is hiring a Store Manager for its Hamilton location at 1241 Barton Street East.

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the assigned Freshslice restaurant and is expected to approach the location with an owner-operator mindset. The position oversees food quality, customer service, staffing, training, operating controls and local sales development.

Core responsibilities include:
• running the restaurant according to Freshslice manuals, guidelines and operating forms;
• hiring, training, supervising and retraining employees as required;
• managing food, paper, chemical and labour costs within Freshslice targets;
• promoting the restaurant to nearby schools, public organizations, local businesses and community events;
• increasing average store sales through local outreach;
• working with Head Office and service technicians to resolve signage, equipment and operating issues.

The manager is expected to provide hands-on leadership and maintain company standards across the location.

Freshslice requires experience working in and managing a quick-service restaurant, strong written and verbal English communication, a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week and willingness to follow the company's operating and training systems. The posting asks the manager to act entrepreneurially and take leadership of the store; living within roughly 30 minutes of the restaurant is preferred. One year of restaurant-management experience is required and one year in a pizza restaurant is preferred.

Permanent, full-time, in-person position at 1241 Barton Street East, Hamilton, ON. Published annual compensation: CAD 50,000–80,000.
