Customer Support Specialist - Clean Energy

Role overview

A fast-growing clean-energy technology company in Montréal is hiring a Customer Support Specialist to support residential-energy products. The person becomes the first point of contact for customers, handles questions through phone, email and live chat, performs first-line technical troubleshooting and coordinates with field or technical teams when an issue requires deeper expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support customers across phone, email and live chat.
• Diagnose basic product, configuration and residential-energy issues.
• Resolve first-line problems and escalate more complex cases appropriately.
• Document interactions, technical issues and resolutions in CRM and knowledge-base tools.
• Gather customer feedback and work with Sales, Product, Engineering and Field Operations.
• Maintain response-time and service-level expectations while owning cases through resolution.

• At least one year in front-line customer support or customer success.
• Basic knowledge of residential-energy or electrical concepts.
• Excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort troubleshooting and working across several systems simultaneously.
• Help-desk/CRM experience, French/English bilingualism and solar/battery/EV knowledge are assets.
