About the opportunity

HR Craft is recruiting general labourers for a meat-processing facility in Mississauga. The position supports day-to-day production while maintaining food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Package and label meat products.
• Operate production machinery and equipment as assigned.
• Assist with loading and unloading products.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary.
• Follow food-safety and general safety procedures.
• Work with team members to maintain an efficient production flow.
• Move and handle products carefully.
• Complete other production tasks assigned by supervisors.

Previous similar experience is an asset but is not stated as mandatory. Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive work, lift/push/pull loads up to 50 lb, work in refrigerated or freezer conditions, follow food-safety practices and instructions, communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
