About the opportunity

HR Craft is recruiting a meat cutter for work in Mississauga and Etobicoke. The role focuses on poultry cutting and trimming, deboning, receiving and inspecting meat deliveries, maintaining product quality and keeping the work area clean and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Cut and trim poultry to order specifications.
• Remove bones and skin from meat.
• Receive, inspect and store meat deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
• Apply problem-solving skills while maintaining quality standards.

The source requires one year of meat-cutting experience and prefers two years of bone-cutting experience. Candidates need meat-cutting and knife skills, knowledge of production and quality-control practices, steady hand/arm movement, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and the physical capacity to stand for long periods and push, pull or lift up to 100 lb. The environment may be cold, approximately -10°C to +4°C.

Full-time, permanent. Published compensation: $18–$22 per hour. Schedules may include 8- or 10-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime. Source locations are Mississauga and Etobicoke; Etobicoke is normalized to Toronto in RBB.
