Role description
Optimum is hiring an Accounting Analyst in Montréal to produce, validate and analyze financial information for corporate entities and investment funds while supporting accounting and tax compliance and risk controls.
Responsibilities
- Produce and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial information and support budgeting and cash-flow monitoring.
- Validate financial statements and support investment-fund audits.
- Manage tax-related work, government remittances and interactions with tax authorities.
- Contribute to improvements in financial processes and systems and to special corporate projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration; CPA designation completed or in progress; 5–7 years of relevant experience; advanced Excel skills; knowledge of IFRS, ASPE and US GAAP; strong French and functional English. Oracle Financials knowledge is a significant asset.
