Financial Controller – Lévis

Alevo Talents is recruiting a Financial Controller for a well-established Quebec company preparing succession within its finance team.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing for two companies.
• Manage the full accounting cycle.
• Oversee a significant accounts-payable volume.
• Participate in payroll for about 90 employees, including CCQ workers.
• Track project accounting.
• Work with external auditors.
• Improve accounting processes and tools.
• Progressively develop into the controller role.

• Solid accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting or financial control.
• CPA designation or a background supporting rapid progression toward a controller role.
• Strong Excel and accounting-system skills; Acomba is an asset.
• Rigour, autonomy, organization and comfort in a hands-on SME environment.

• Salary: $100,000–$135,000 depending on experience.
• Group insurance with 80% of premiums paid by the employer.
• On-site Monday-to-Friday schedule, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Vacation during company shutdown periods.
