Director of Finance

Alevo Talents is recruiting a CPA Director of Finance for a nonprofit organization in downtown Quebec City undergoing a major transformation.

Responsibilities

• Build budgets, cash forecasts and dashboards.
• Oversee the accounting cycle, tax compliance and annual audit.
• Support public funding and grant applications and reporting.
• Contribute to financial planning for major projects and investment monitoring.
• Develop tools, processes and internal controls.
• Manage the finances of two related organizations and advise the executive director.

• CPA designation.
• At least 7 years of relevant financial-management experience.
• Ability to structure, analyze and advise while remaining operationally involved.
• Nonprofit, public-funding and grant experience are assets.

• Downtown Quebec City.
• 35-hour week with occasional remote work.
• 4–5 weeks of vacation.
• Full insurance with 50% employer contribution, 5 cashable sick days and fully paid parking.
