Payroll Lead

Alevo Talents is recruiting a Payroll Lead to own full-cycle payroll and improve payroll processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
• Validate time sheets, bonuses, commissions and deductions.
• Handle benefits, retirement-plan deductions and garnishments.
• Post payroll journal entries.
• Produce ROEs and year-end T4/T4A/Relevé 1 files.
• Handle government remittances and legislative monitoring.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare payroll reports.
• Support audits, managers, employees and HR onboarding/offboarding.

• At least 5 years of full-cycle payroll experience.
• College or university training in accounting, administration or HR.
• Payroll certification strongly preferred.
• Strong payroll-software and Excel skills.
• Excellent French, functional English, discretion and analytical ability.

• Salary up to $90,000 depending on experience.
• 40-hour week with possible flexibility to 35 hours.
