Interim Senior Financial Analyst

About the opportunity

IFG is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst for a six-month Toronto contract with a large publicly traded company.

The assignment is focused on year-end audit support in a complex legal-entity environment.

Key responsibilities

• The analyst will prepare and consolidate financial information, support audit requests, provide accounting commentary and help the team move through year-end close and reporting activities.
• The position is fully in office and is intended for someone who can step into a hands-on accounting workload quickly and work independently with multiple entities and audit deliverables.

Qualifications

• The posting seeks a CPA with at least three years of relevant hands-on experience in year-end audit support and accounting.
• Strong consolidation and financial-statement experience is important, while experience with OneStream or a comparable consolidation platform is an asset.
• Candidates must be able to work in the office five days per week, manage detailed audit requests and communicate clearly with finance colleagues and auditors.

Position details

• Six-month Toronto contract with strong possibility of extension or conversion.
