Journeyman Plumber / Gasfitter B

Jetstream Personnel Consulting is recruiting a Journeyman Plumber / Gasfitter B for a plumbing and HVAC organization in Vegreville. The work spans residential, commercial and industrial service/new-construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with apprentices and fellow journeypersons.
• Lay out piping, fixtures and systems.
• Cut openings and measure/cut/thread/bend/join pipe.
• Assemble and install valves, fittings and related components.
• Test piping systems for leaks and code compliance.
• Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping.
• Install plumbing fixtures and HVAC equipment.
• Service, repair and maintain HVAC systems.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation.

• Valid Journeyman Plumber certification.
• Gasfitter B certification.
• Minimum 6 years of plumbing experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and teamwork.
• Dependability, self-motivation and organization.
• Commitment to safety, quality and workmanship.
• Ability to commute reliably to Vegreville or relocate.

Conditions

• Permanent, full-time, on-site.
• $38–$45/hour based on experience.
• Relocation incentive of $2,500–$5,000.
