Class 1A Super-B Fuel Haul Drivers

Jetstream Personnel Consulting is recruiting experienced Class 1A drivers for a long-term fuel-hauling client operating in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Drivers are based in Lloydminster and haul diesel and gasoline with Super-B equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport diesel and gasoline using Super-B equipment.
• Load and unload fuel at terminals and customer locations.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain electronic logs and trip documentation.
• Follow company, terminal, transportation and safety procedures.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding loads, delays and route conditions.
• Keep equipment safe, clean and professional.

• Valid Class 1A driver’s licence.
• Commercial-driving experience.
• Super-B operating experience.
• Fuel-hauling or dangerous-goods experience strongly preferred.
• Acceptable driver’s abstract.
• Ability to pass a company road test.
• Strong safety/regulatory focus.
• Comfort with extended shifts, weekends and time away from home.

Schedule and compensation

• Long-term direct-hire opportunity; at least 2 drivers required, with potential for 4+.
• 5 days on / 5 days off, day shifts, weekends required.
• Up to 70 hours per rotation under federal Hours of Service rules.
• Compensation is per load, calculated around an approximate $38/hour base.
• Examples: Lloydminster $265/load; Provost $325/load; average approximately $550 per working day.
• Additional wait time paid at $25/hour for specified delays/shop work/truck washing.
• Benefits available after 6 months and $500 bonus after 3 months.
• PPE supplied except work boots.
• Base: Lloydminster, Alberta; routes initially include Lloydminster, Provost and Maidstone and may expand.
