CPA Accountant / CPA Articling Student

Jetstream Personnel Consulting is recruiting a CPA Accountant or CPA Articling Student for an established public-accounting firm in Lloydminster. The role offers direct client exposure, accounting and tax work, flexible scheduling and potential future partnership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client financial statements.
• Prepare corporate and personal income-tax returns.
• Work directly with clients to gather information and support accounting/tax needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners on accurate, timely client work.
• Assist with corporate and personal tax projects.

• Applications are open to CPA articling students, newly designated CPAs and experienced CPAs.
• Public-accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Clear communication and client-service orientation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate.
• Interest in building a public-accounting career.

Compensation and conditions

• CPA Articling Student: $60,000–$80,000/year.
• Newly Designated CPA: $85,000–$100,000/year.
• CPA with 3–5 years: $105,000–$125,000/year.
• CPA with 5+ years: $125,000+.
• Benefits and flexible work schedule.
• Relocation assistance may be available.
• 1,950 standard annual hours; paid overtime above standard hours.
• 3 weeks vacation, increasing up to 5 based on experience.
• Employer pension contribution of 3–6% after one year.
• CPA dues and courses paid.
• Location: Lloydminster, Alberta.
