Role description
National new-business development role for a Vancouver-based recycling organization. The mandate is to build a national pipeline, prospect and win new institutional, healthcare, food-manufacturing, industrial, pharmaceutical and commercial accounts, develop recycling and waste-diversion solutions, navigate RFP and procurement processes, manage the full sales cycle and expand successful programs across locations and waste streams.
Qualifications
7+ years of direct experience in waste management, recycling or environmental services, with a proven record of winning net-new business. Strong knowledge of large-scale commercial, industrial or institutional recycling programs, complex account selling, procurement and RFP processes is required. Candidate must be entrepreneurial, disciplined in pipeline management, a strong negotiator and willing to travel.
Additional information
Vancouver-based national market opportunity. Base salary approximately $80,000–$90,000 plus uncapped commission and bonus, health and dental benefits, and three weeks of paid vacation.
