Technical Sales Representative

About the opportunity

MatchBox is recruiting a Technical Sales Representative in North Vancouver for an established HVAC solutions provider serving commercial customers across Western Canada.

The role combines account management, technical discovery and business development.

Key responsibilities

• The representative will manage and grow existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities across the Greater Vancouver area and work with contractors, building owners and facility teams on HVAC service, repairs, retrofits and preventive-maintenance needs.
• Success depends on understanding customer requirements, developing trusted relationships and coordinating appropriate service solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have B2B sales or business-development experience and be comfortable learning or discussing HVAC, building systems or another technical service.
• Strong relationship management, prospecting, territory organization and communication skills are important.
• Experience selling to contractors, commercial property stakeholders, facility teams or similar technical buyers is useful.
• The role suits someone who can balance growth targets with long-term account service and who is comfortable working in the field with clients.
