Business Development Manager - Atlantic Canada

Role overview

Poly Tech Talent is recruiting a Business Development Manager for Atlantic Canada to build new customer relationships, develop strategic partnerships and expand a company’s regional market presence. Reporting to a vice-president of business development, the role combines prospecting, account strategy, proposal work and ongoing relationship management and requires travel and direct engagement across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop a regional business-development plan and target-account pipeline.
• Build relationships with prospective customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
• Identify new opportunities and coordinate proposals, presentations and negotiations.
• Track market activity, customer needs and competitive developments.
• Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to convert opportunities into long-term accounts.

• Business-development, account-management or strategic-sales experience.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation and negotiation capability.
• Ability to work independently across a broad geographic region.
• Comfort travelling throughout Atlantic Canada as required.
• Strong commercial judgment and structured pipeline-management skills.
