Sales Engineer – Applied HVAC / Mechanical Systems

JP Recruitment is hiring for an established North American manufacturer of HVAC and mechanical equipment in the London, Ontario territory. The role combines technical expertise, business development and project support.

Key responsibilities:
• Build relationships with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, owners and customers across Southwestern Ontario.
• Understand project requirements and recommend suitable HVAC solutions.
• Support design, equipment selection, specifications, quotations and proposals.
• Develop new opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Follow projects from early design through award and order.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, manufacturing and technical teams.

Candidate profile:
• Education in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or a related technical field.
• HVAC, mechanical equipment, building systems, consulting, applications or technical-sales experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to understand drawings, specifications and equipment applications.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a territory and multiple projects independently.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel locally.
