Power Platform Developer

About the opportunity

TEEMA is recruiting a Power Platform Developer for a six-month assignment with a manufacturing client in Victoria.

The developer will build and maintain low-code business applications and automations using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, support the existing Power Platform portfolio and troubleshoot production issues.

Key responsibilities

• The work spans the software-development lifecycle and includes collaboration with a technical lead, business analyst, systems analysts and end users.
• The role also emphasizes governance, version control, testing, risk controls, user adoption and continuous improvement so that new solutions remain maintainable and aligned with the client’s lifecycle standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or business administration, or a post-secondary computer-science diploma, together with at least two years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• The posting calls for experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Fx, canvas and model-driven applications, Power Platform governance / Centre of Excellence concepts and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with PCF components, custom connectors, Power Automate Desktop, performance optimization and prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD is relevant.
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate, Azure Fundamentals or Azure Developer Associate certifications are preferred rather than mandatory.
• Heavy-manufacturing experience is an asset.

Position details

• Six-month full-time contract in Victoria, British Columbia, fully on site.
• Public rate: CAD 57.50 per hour.
• The role requires a valid Reliability Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Clearance, or the ability to obtain them shortly after an offer.
