Technical Sales Rep - Instrumentation BC

About the opportunity

TEEMA is supporting a Canadian instrumentation supplier in hiring a technical sales representative for British Columbia.

The client provides process and analytical instrumentation used for measurement and control, including flow, level, density, gas detection and analytical systems across sectors such as oil and gas, power, chemicals, mining, pulp and paper and municipal operations.

Key responsibilities

• The representative will protect and grow existing customer relationships, develop new business, understand application requirements and connect customers with appropriate technical solutions while managing a broad industrial territory.

Qualifications

• Candidates need a strong technical-sales mindset, the ability to build long-term industrial customer relationships and comfort learning or discussing instrumentation and process-control applications.
• Experience selling technical products into industrial markets is highly relevant.
• The role requires disciplined territory management, business development, communication with technical stakeholders and the ability to travel through British Columbia.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, automation, measurement or process industries is a strong asset.

Position details

• Direct-hire British Columbia territory role.
• Public base salary range: CAD 70,000–160,000.
• Territory covers British Columbia except the Fort St.
• John region according to the official posting.
