Product Manager

Wirehead is recruiting a Product Manager for a 136-day on-site government contract in Toronto. The assignment is focused on enterprise-scale digital product leadership, covering product vision, discovery, roadmap planning, delivery, modernization and stakeholder alignment in a Microsoft technology environment.

Product leadership

• Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy.
• Lead discovery work and translate business needs into actionable requirements and user stories.
• Own or coordinate the product roadmap, backlog, prioritization and release planning.
• Align technology investments with measurable business outcomes.
• Guide products from strategy through delivery in complex enterprise environments.
• Work with Agile, Scrum and cross-functional delivery teams.

Technology & modernization

• Evaluate business, technical and operational solution options.
• Work in environments using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure and Dataverse.
• Support solution-modernization initiatives involving enterprise architecture, cloud services, APIs and integration patterns.
• Lead or coordinate privacy impact, threat/risk and broader technology risk-management activities.
• Navigate OPS project and architecture governance processes, digital standards, privacy requirements and cybersecurity practices.

Stakeholder management

• Build relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
• Influence decisions and manage competing priorities.
• Keep product direction aligned across executives, delivery teams and operational stakeholders.

Must-have experience

• 5+ years of product-management experience in IT or digital services.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale products from strategy through delivery.
• Strong product-roadmap, vision and discovery capabilities.
• Demonstrated backlog management, prioritization and release-planning experience.
• Proven ability to align technology investments with business outcomes.
• Hands-on Agile delivery, Scrum and Lean product-development experience with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud services, APIs and integration patterns.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure and Dataverse.
• Experience with OPS IT project and architectural governance.
• Experience leading large-scale digital or IT transformation and delivering user-centric products in complex environments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OPS Digital Standards, privacy requirements and cybersecurity practices.
• Previous Ontario Public Sector or broader public-sector experience.
• Experience coordinating PIA, TRA and technology-risk activities.
