Construction Planner

Role overview

A leading energy company is seeking a Contract Construction Planner to support construction planning and execution at a downstream facility in Lloydminster. Reporting to site-project leadership, the planner builds detailed execution plans and sequences multidisciplinary work so construction can be completed safely, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Review approved scopes and verify that required construction documentation is complete.
• Develop execution plans including P&ID markups, inspection drawings, plot-plan updates, bills of material and supporting documentation.
• Create detailed step-out plans in Primavera P6.
• Integrate multidisciplinary construction activities into logical execution sequences.
• Participate in contractor validation reviews, field walks, schedule-quality reviews and optimization sessions.
• Support RFIs, material readiness, contractor performance and additional-work review during planning.

• Senior industrial construction-planning experience, with strong project execution and schedule knowledge.
• Experience with Primavera P6, P&IDs, multidisciplinary coordination and construction documentation.
• Relevant technical or trade background; the posting references Red Seal/technical education and significant industrial planning experience.
• Valid Class 5 licence and ability to work locally in Lloydminster.

On-site contract role in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, five days per week and eight hours per day. Published contract rate is $94.67–$115.50/hour.
