Role description
Full-time insurance-sales opportunity in Toronto for a broker who will develop and manage a personal and commercial book of business. Responsibilities include identifying new business, assessing client needs, recommending tailored insurance solutions, maintaining regulatory/company compliance, delivering client service and retention and staying current on insurance products and market/regulatory developments.
Qualifications
Previous insurance-sales experience and an active RIBO licence are required. Candidates need a strong understanding of insurance products and regulations, client-needs analysis, relationship-building ability, continuous-learning orientation and an entrepreneurial, self-directed sales approach.
Additional information
Hybrid full-time role in Toronto. The end-client compensation is 100% commission: 65% on new business, 50% on renewals and 50% book ownership; these percentages are candidate compensation, not recruiter split-fee terms. Published earnings range is $100,000–$150,000. Hired Partners separately publicized a 50/50 recruiter split-fee partnership for active Insurance Agent/Broker searches.
