Chief Financial Officer

Executive Chief Financial Officer opportunity with Crosby Foods in Saint John, New Brunswick. This is a broad enterprise-leadership role rather than a traditional accounting-only position. The CFO works directly with the CEO, COO, senior leadership and the advisory board and has influence across financial strategy, operations, capital allocation and technology, including executive oversight of Information Technology.

Key responsibilities
• Strengthen enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting and capital-allocation processes.
• Monitor cash flow, margins and overall financial performance and identify where investments and growth priorities should be focused.
• Evaluate customer, product and business-line economics to improve commercial decision making.
• Set priorities for systems, data, cybersecurity, automation and AI adoption as executive lead for IT.
• Bring greater financial discipline and visibility while supporting an entrepreneurial operating pace.
• Lead, develop and support the Finance team.
• Partner with ownership and leadership on major strategic and operational decisions.

Profile
The role is aimed at a current CFO, VP Finance, divisional finance leader or senior financial executive ready for broader enterprise responsibility. Experience in manufacturing, food, consumer products or another operationally complex environment is highly relevant. Strong financial fundamentals, commercial judgment, strategic thinking, hands-on execution and the confidence to challenge leadership constructively are important.

Senior finance leadership experience required. Experience in complex manufacturing, food, consumer products or operational environments is preferred, along with strong business-systems and technology leadership.
