Director of Marketing and Communications

Senior hybrid Director of Marketing and Communications opportunity with Encorp Atlantic in Moncton. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director leads the organization’s marketing, public education, stakeholder communications, media relations and crisis communications. The role also leads two Communications Coordinators and works closely with the leadership team, Board Committee, external agencies and service providers.

Key responsibilities
• Develop and execute marketing and strategic communications plans aligned with organizational priorities.
• Lead public education and stakeholder-communication initiatives.
• Manage media relations, public relations and crisis communications, including high-pressure situations.
• Guide and develop the communications team and coordinate external agencies and vendors.
• Support senior leadership and board-level communications and reporting.
• Oversee communications budgets, priorities, timelines and delivery across multiple channels.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and help maintain consistent organizational messaging.

Profile
The opportunity calls for senior marketing/communications leadership experience, strong strategic writing and planning ability, media and public-relations experience, stakeholder-management skills and the ability to lead teams. Strong English and French capability is preferred for this Atlantic Canadian leadership role.
