Role description
Role overview
Landmark Search Group is recruiting a Controller for a long-established Vancouver real-estate development and property-management organization. The position combines hands-on financial oversight with leadership across the property-accounting function and is intended for an experienced accounting leader comfortable with a diverse portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting system and core property-management accounting processes.
- Lead recurring financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and year-end work.
- Maintain strong controls, documentation and accuracy across the accounting function.
- Guide and support property-accounting staff while partnering with operational leadership.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Approximately 5 years of leadership experience.
- Strong real-estate and property-management accounting knowledge.
- Advanced financial-reporting, reconciliation, budgeting and team-leadership capability.
Additional information
Permanent full-time Vancouver role. Public current listings show a salary range of $125,000–$160,000 CAD and benefits including paid time off, dental care, extended health coverage and RRSP matching. Landmark’s official job board is retained as the application destination.
