Property Accountant

Role overview

Landmark Search Group is recruiting a Property Accountant for an established and growing Vancouver property-accounting team. The role is designed for someone continuing to build property-management accounting experience and combines tenant accounting, month-end reporting, reconciliations and budgeting support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tenant billings, including utility or percentage-rent items where applicable.
• Reconcile AR, AP, tenant ledgers, bank and balance-sheet accounts.
• Respond to tenant-account questions and support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Post recurring or adjusting entries and assist with year-end working papers and annual budgets.
• Prepare recovery models and other ad hoc accounting reports while supporting the broader accounting team.

• Approximately 2–3 years of property-management accounting experience.
• Hands-on AP/AR, monthly reporting and budgeting experience.
• Strong reconciliation skills and familiarity with property-accounting systems such as Yardi.
• Professional, detail-oriented and collaborative working style.
