Dual Ticket Maintenance Technician

About the opportunity

Osborne Recruitment is recruiting a Dual Ticket Maintenance Technician for an established manufacturer of polymer products serving power industries. The role combines industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance and is responsible for keeping production equipment, systems and facility infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.

The technician supports breakdown recovery, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous-improvement activity in collaboration with production, contractors and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and maintain production equipment, motors, lighting, disconnects and facility infrastructure.
• Use welding, fabrication tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
• Support housekeeping, 5S and workplace-safety standards.
• Collaborate with production, contractors, engineering and maintenance colleagues on projects and improvements.
• Follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) and 442A Industrial Electrician licences.
• Minimum five years of industrial-maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• PLC programming experience.
• Proactive, team-oriented problem-solving approach.

Position details

• Public pay range: CAD 50–58 per hour.
