Sales Associate

Platinum Recruiting is recruiting a Sales Associate in Kelowna for a retailer specializing in premium backyard and outdoor-living products. The role combines consultative retail sales, showroom support, quotations, contracts and relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Understand walk-in customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, contracts and payment documentation.
• Maintain showroom displays and support inventory organization.
• Develop relationships with builders, designers and other business contacts.
• Work toward individual and store sales goals.
• Participate in product training and maintain current product knowledge.
• Provide professional follow-up throughout the customer buying process.

• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Team-oriented, reliable and interested in a long-term role.
• Saturday availability is required.
• Microsoft Office and point-of-sale experience are assets.
• Consultative selling experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Approximately 2–10 years of relevant sales/customer-facing experience may fit the role.
