Industrial Mechanic / Electromechanic

Permanent industrial-maintenance position in Saguenay. The successful candidate performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to support reliability and availability.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electromechanical failures, repairing equipment, completing planned maintenance, and helping install, move and align machinery. The role also involves documenting interventions and working with operations to reduce production downtime.

Approximately four years of relevant electromechanical or industrial-maintenance experience is sought. A vocational diploma in industrial mechanics, electromechanics or equivalent training is required or strongly preferred. The employer is looking for an autonomous, organized person who is comfortable troubleshooting problems. Bilingualism is considered an asset.

Compensation is advertised from $30/hour. The position is approximately 40 hours on a day schedule, normally 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility and the possibility of a four-day schedule depending on work organization. Exact conditions remain those of the official posting.
