Industrial Mechanic

Permanent industrial-mechanic role in Sorel-Tracy in a manufacturing environment operating on rotating shifts. The position combines operations and maintenance responsibilities: approximately 60% of the work is related to operations and 40% to equipment maintenance.

The successful candidate monitors installations, makes necessary adjustments, diagnoses abnormalities and performs preventive and corrective mechanical work. The role helps maintain production continuity, documents interventions and follows plant safety procedures.

The posting calls for approximately five years of relevant experience and a vocational diploma in industrial mechanics or equivalent training. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot mechanical problems, work independently and adapt to a long rotating-shift schedule.
