Role description

Synertek is looking for an on-call delivery driver to handle deliveries and replacements as needed. Hours vary from week to week, ranging from an occasional day to several consecutive days and potentially a full week.

Responsibilities

  • Perform deliveries and pickups at business partners in Lévis, Québec City and surrounding areas.
  • Drive an approximately 20-foot truck and represent Synertek with partners and customers.
  • Plan routes efficiently based on priorities and delivery deadlines.
  • Prepare, load and secure parts to preserve packaging and product quality.
  • Meet delivery deadlines and provide courteous, professional service.
  • Report delivery activities to the logistics dispatcher.
  • Perform other related delivery duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
  • Truck-driving experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Québec City and Lévis is an asset.
  • Courtesy, discretion and organizational skills.
  • Customer-service orientation.
  • Reliability and on-call availability.

Additional information

Conditions

  • On-call employment with no guaranteed number of hours each week.
  • May involve an occasional day or several consecutive days depending on replacement and delivery needs.
  • Posted wage: CAD 25.42 to 28.00/hour depending on experience.
  • Travel mainly in Lévis, Québec City and surrounding areas.
