The finishing labourer finishes metal parts according to drawings, quality standards and production deadlines.

Read and interpret drawings and perform required simple calculations.
Perform finishing work such as polishing, drilling, rolling, sawing and assembly as needed.
Sand parts with an orbital sander to achieve the required finish.
Use and adjust various pneumatic tools.
Check part conformity against established standards.

Factory work experience.
Experience with sheet metal, bodywork, automotive detailing or another relevant field.
Ability to read drawings and perform simple calculations.
Knowledge of metric and imperial measurements.
Precision, resourcefulness, logical thinking and collaboration.
Comfortable in a dusty environment and physically able to lift up to about 35 lb.

Permanent full-time employment.
Weekday schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with other flexible schedule options.
Advertised pay: CAD 28.22 to 31.24/hour depending on experience.
