Role description
Synertek is looking for a production worker to operate the Time-Saver, a compact automated deburring machine, to achieve the required finish on metal parts.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
- Adjust machine settings based on material and required finish.
- Feed parts into the machine and retrieve them at the exit.
- Sand and brush surfaces, micro-joints and edges.
- Check work quality and adjust settings when needed.
- Perform daily cleaning and basic Time-Saver maintenance.
- Help with other production tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Factory work experience.
- Knowledge of sheet metal is an asset.
- Ability to read drawings and perform simple calculations.
- Knowledge of metric and imperial measurement systems.
- Resourcefulness, logic, autonomy, collaboration and organization.
- Attention to detail, precision and good physical condition.
Additional information
Conditions
- Part-time weekend schedule.
- 12 or 24 hours per week depending on availability: Saturday, Sunday or both, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Advertised pay: CAD 25.37/hour.
